Inspired by pelicans, ocean movement, and the layered blues of the coast, Pelican Passage brings a fresh, painterly point of view to the mahjong table. Four pelicans frame the design around a sea-inspired center, creating a composition that feels balanced, lively, and distinctly coastal.

Designed by Martha Lynn Mitchell of Marshrat, Pelican Passage reflects her love of birds, botanicals, coastal marshes, and the vibrant colors found throughout nature. Soft aqua, navy, teal, and pale blue tones pair with wave-inspired patterning to give the mat a calm yet graphic sense of movement.

Storage

The mat arrives rolled and packaged in a protective plastic bag for convenient storage and transportation. The border may not lay completely flat when first unrolled, but it will typically relax and flatten with regular use.
