What are the mats made of?

We offer two mat collections:

Natural Rubber Mats

  • 3MM Natural rubber base — eco-friendly, flexible, and grippy
  • Smooth, shiny fabric top for smooth tile movement — similar to most standard mahjong mats on the market
  • Stitched edge finish
  • Available in 20", 31.5", and 33.5"
  • Note: The backing is derived from natural rubber (latex). If you have a latex allergy, please take note before purchasing.

SI Signature™ Faux Leather Mats

  • Studio-printed SI Signature™ faux leather surface
  • Available in four shapes: 34" round, 33" scalloped, 33" square, and 20" travel
  • SI Signature™ grip strips included
Are your mats thicker than standard mats?

Yes. Our mats are produced using an upgraded 3mm construction, which provides a more substantial feel and improved durability compared to thinner standard mats.
Do colors print exactly as shown?

We aim for strong color accuracy, but slight variations may occur due to printing processes and screen differences.
Can I put my neoprene mat into the washing machine?

Hand washing is recommended, machine washing is not advised. If machine washing is necessary, only use the gentle cycle.
Will wrinkles or waves come out of my SI Signature™ faux leather mat?

Our SI Signature™ faux leather is a structured, wipe-clean material, so minor waves from shipping may relax once the mat is laid flat. Place the mat print-side up on a clean, flat surface for 24–72 hours. For a little extra help, gently roll it in the opposite direction for a short time, then lay it flat again.

Please do not fold the mat, iron it, steam it, or apply direct heat. Sharp creases from folding, heavy pressure, or improper storage may not fully come out.

Custom Orders

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes. We specialize in fully custom mahjong mats for individuals, brands, and businesses.
What do I need to get started on a custom order?

We offer two custom mat options:

Personalize a Mahjong by SI Mat
Choose one of our existing designs and add your name, monogram, logo, image, or text. This option is great for gifts, club mats, or event orders.

Custom Mat Builder
Start from a blank mat and upload your own full artwork or design from scratch. This option is ideal for branded pieces, club designs, or one-of-a-kind creations.

Will I receive a proof before production?

Artwork is reviewed prior to production. If adjustments are needed, our team will reach out.

Orders + Production

Are your products in stock?

All mats are printed made to order in our U.S. facility.
How long does production take?

Production timelines vary based on order size and current volume. Most orders fall within a standard production window, and our team will confirm timing once your order is reviewed.
Can I cancel or change my order?

Orders may be adjusted within a limited window before production begins. Once production has started, changes cannot be made.

Shipping

Where do orders ship from?

All orders ship from our U.S. facility.
Do you offer expedited shipping?

Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout depending on the order.

We offer flexible production options including both bulk and on demand ordering.
How do I apply?

You can apply through our Wholesale page. All applications are reviewed to ensure the right fit.

Returns + Support

Do you accept returns?

Due to the custom nature of our products, most orders are final sale. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full details.
What if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 5 days of delivery with photos and your order number so we can review and resolve the issue.
